We are committed to making our website accessible to everyone — regardless of physical, sensory, or cognitive limitations.
Implemented Measures
- Skip links: Keyboard users can jump directly to the main content on every page.
- Semantic HTML: Correct use of landmarks (
header, main, nav, footer) and ARIA roles. - Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable via keyboard with visible focus indicators.
- Screen reader support: ARIA labels on buttons, links, and forms. Decorative elements are marked with
aria-hidden. - Read-aloud function: Content pages can be read aloud with a single click (AWS Polly Neural, German and English).
- Reduced motion: When
prefers-reduced-motionis enabled, all animations are disabled. - High contrast: When
prefers-contrastis enabled, glass effects are replaced with solid backgrounds and borders are strengthened. - Dark/Light mode: Users can choose their preferred colour scheme.
- Forms: All input fields have labels, error messages are linked via
aria-describedby. - Responsive design: The website is usable on all screen sizes.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may have limitations. Blog articles are created by various authors and may vary in accessibility. We are continuously working on improvements.
